Robbie and Lisa are getting married in September in Baltimore and i was thrilled to be able to take their engagement pictures, i’m so excited for them and completely jealous they are going to HAWAII for 2 WEEKS how fun is that!!!! congratulations and i wish ya’ll all the best!!!!

ashlyn & ethan ~engaged~

ethan is in the marine corps and is being deployed soon so ashlyn wanted to get their engagement pictures taken before he deployed, which i didn’t mind at all taking them for her! i have photographed ashlyn before and this girl is so easy to take pictures of! i could seriously take her picture weekly.

ethan thanks for all you do for our country, i was truly honored to take these pictures for you guys! be safe and i know ashlyn will miss you.

Mackenzie just turned 16 and graduated school so she wanted some pictures to remember this special time in her life.

she also told me she wasn’t photogenic and i would have my work cut out for me… of course she was totally photogenic and i had so much fun talking to her and taking pictures

when her cousin found out she was getting her pictures made he insisted that she get some made with this hat.

well a lot has certainly changed since the last time i blogged!

on may 8th matt & i got married! the wedding was wonderful, the weather was lovely everything was just amazing. we went to St. Thomas for our honeymoon and it was beautiful and we had a wonderful time, but there is truly no place like home!

arriving at the airport. neither one of us had ever flown before, needless to say my nerves were about to get the best of me. so matt calmly waited while i did anything but sit still! ha-ha

we had just landed in st. thomas and were waiting to go to the resort!

all the views were amazing!

and there were iguana’s everywhere, they were definitely not my favorite!

one night a cruise ship left the harbor.

oh were to start, i contacted the lovely sharon from smitten to see if i could by chance tag along with her to a wedding, it was above and beyond anything i dreamed of learning, she is so infectious and makes you want to strive to do your best not just at photography, but life in general. her and her husband are packing up and moving to colorado in 3 weeks to live the life that god has called them to. sharon thanks so much it meant the world to me that i got to tag along with you to this amazing wedding.

P.S. Sharon i simply can not wait for my wedding. which is in 2 months!!!!

it finally snowed this weekend, and while i was so excited for it all i did was run out and take some pictures of cecily playing in it! haha oh well maybe next time i will go sledding a few times! for me it was more fun to just laze around and make chili and apple pies! I spy an Eskimo
